Hi All, I am so sorry for the delay in telling all of you. I had promised yesterday but came down with a nasty migraine that wiped me for the day. I have added all of the names for Land Patents for Calumet County. They are indexed by last name with a link to the location for obtaining a copy of the complete original document for $1.50. It can be found on the main genweb page. Please keep in mind when looking for your ancestor that they may have spelled it totally different from what you are use to seeing. As an example, I was looking for Frank Kroeckenberger, I have also seen his last name spelled as Krackenberger. After some searching, I finally found him under Francis Krekenberger. So please keep this in mind while looking. Also, if you find an entry of the same name more than once, these are different documented land purchases. This weekend, weather permitting, I am will be heading to Calumet county to do some cemetery indexing. I will let you know when something new is added to the page again.
