Hi All, This past Saturday my hubby, 6 boys and I went to New Holstein and started to index the city cemetery. Although we didn't get all of it done, we did get a nice size portion to start with. I am hoping to get it up on the website by the end of the week. I did however run across something I thought may be useful, so I copied it and had the german translated. In the center of the cemetery is a platform type of thing and on the front of it is a listing of the Civil War fatalities from New Holstein. I have uploaded the information and names that appeared on this monument to the Calumet County website. You can find it under cemeteries listed as New Holstein Civil War Fatalities. I will post to the group again once I have what we copied from the cemetery up on the website. Hope you are all having a great week, Debie http://www.excel.net/~sebring/index.htm (Our Purple Heart database) http://www.rootsweb.com/~wicalume/ (Calumet Cty, WIS, GenWeb) http://www.rootsweb.com/~wisheboy/ (Sheboygan Cty, WIS, GenWeb Page) http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/8014 (our family homepage) http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/b/l/i/Debie-J-Blindauer/ (Our surname database)
