    2. W David Samuelsen
    3. Today marks the last day Rootsweb mailing lists working. Tomorrow, the Rootsweb mailing lists are no more. All messages that had been posted here are saved and archived, will continue to be accessed and read. Subscription, no more Postings, no more Replies, no more BUT ! Successor lists are here, but at another place The successor list for this list is: https://groups.io/g/WI-Genealogy sorry, no county list for this one, yet but the list owner may create "subgroup" for the county alone, within this state list. Go to the site and "join this group". This is easy step. David Samuelsen, subscriber

    3. Hi everyone! Just letting you know that the lists are back up and running again so to "celebrate" our return I'm initiating a first ever Surname Shout Out. Please do NOT reply to this message. *Make a new post* A Surname Shout Out works like a Roll Call where we all post an ancestor we're totally stumped on. Please be sure to add vital statistics like date of birth, death, marriage, etc. Happy Hunting! David Samuelsen, new admin

    2. Lance, There is an online Wisconsin records index at https://www.wisconsinhistory.org/Records/Article/CS15307 where you will find births, marriages and deaths up through 1907. I found your Pauley/Rollmann marriage but with the spelling recorded as Pauly/Pollmann. You will also find some of this family history at WorldConnect's search page at https://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi. 1. [WICALUME] HOHNWALDT - BEESKON Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel via
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Louise HOHNWALDT which was taken at the A. C. Miller Studio in Appleton, WI. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1860's with Louise appearing to be in her 20's or 30's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was only able to find one possible match as follows: Louisa BEESKON HONWALDT d. 1904 in Cicero, WI at the age of 66, married to a Farmer, b. 18 Feb 1838 in Germany, she was buried in the Black Creek Cemetery on 25 Dec 1904. Her parents were identified as Christian & Christina BEESKON, born from Germany and her husband as Carl HONWALDT. I'm hoping to locate someone from her family so that the photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
