The schools in the city of Rice Lake in that era were Jefferson, Lincoln and Jefferson (elementary schools); and Washington High School. There was also the Barron County Normal School, also known as the "training school," which prepared teachers-to-be for teaching. This Barron County WI website also lists quite a few of the old rural schools in Barron County, in the "Schools" section. You might find something that rings a bell. (That list isn't completed yet, and might not include Prairie Farm-- but I don't remember hearing of a "Prairie Farm Heights" school in the county.
