Surnames: ASLIN, ASHLIN, BUSS, FLYNN, PELAN Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZEC.2ACE/1162 Message Board Post: I am looking for any further information on MAGLOIRE ASLIN (also found as MAYLAIRE, MAGLER; may also be listed as ASHLIN, ASSLIN, etc.) who came to Barron County, I believe in the Cumberland area (possibly near, or south of Lake Vermillion, by a place called "French Hill"), around 1889. He apparently came from Quebec (somewhere near Montreal), through the Lake Nebagamon area. He arrived in the Cumberland area with his wife, OLIVINE [PELAN?] (also found as OLIVIEN(E)) and children FREDERICK, JOSEPH, LEON, HENRY JOSEPH, CORA MARIA, and MARY ANNE. The girls later married to become CORA MARIA BUSS and MARY ANNE FLYNN. It would appear that I already have much information on this man, but much of it is hearsay, and has not led me to records of his birthplace, parents, or siblings. I would specifically like any information on where, exactly, his land may have been (or that owned by any of his sons) or anything else related to any of the people mentioned here. I would also like to take a moment to profusely thank all who read, request info, and especially research and provide answers to this message board.
