I just recently found a connection between my Oswego County, NY Spragues and Hiram Merriman who moved from Oswego to Lincoln in Adams county between 1870 and 1880. I have quite a bit of information on the Sprague ancestry in NY and New England. Would like to know if anyone in this area of Wisconsin might have any old photos and documents relating to Hiram, Columbia and their descendants. I believe they lived in the county at least to the 1900 census. In 1880, their children were Ida, age 21, Belle, age 20, Grace, age 18, James, age 16, Ward, age 9 and Myrtin (Martin?), age 5. Columbia's brother, Oliver P. Sprague is a gg grandfather to me. Any info appreciated!
