Surnames: Benedict Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.wisconsin.counties.adams/2206/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hello, I am looking for information on: Isaac Benedict b 14 Nov 1823 in Chautauqua County New York Spouse Mary Hall b. 7 Jun 1827 Children: Hiram,Flora,Willis,Lizzie,Herbert and Allie The 1870 Census List him as a farmer in Monroe, Adams county Wisconsin. Daughter Flora was married in 1873 to L. A. Rous. Mary and "W" Benedict were listed as witnesses at her wedding. The 1875 Wisconsin State census list Willis as Head of Household with 3 males and 2 females in the house. 1880 Census finds Mary head of house with Herbert and Lizzie living in Washington State. Willis and Hirum are there as well living in different houses. My guess is Isaac died sometime between 1870 and 1873. I would love to find his grave if possible. Any link to cemeteries in the area would be greatly appriciated. He doesn't come up on the Wisconsin State internet death index. Thanks Layne Bachman Spokane WA
