    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: NICHOLS, REYNOLDS, WARD, WOODRING Classification: Marriage Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XEC.2ACE/1627 Message Board Post: From the Adams County Press [Friendship, Adams Co., WI], Saturday November 16, 1912 Ward - Nichols: At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ward in Springville, Nov. 7, 1912, at 11:30 a.m. their eldest daughter, Miss Della and Mr. Leroy C. Nichols were united in marriage. As Miss Bessie Reynolds played the pretty wedding march, the bride and groom marched in and stood between beautiful chrysanthemums where the ceremony was performed by Rev. C. V. Robinson in the presence of about sixty relatives and friends. Immediately after the ceremony and congratulations, an elegant wedding dinner was served. The bride was attired in blue satin and pearls. She is another one of Adams County's successful teachers to leave the field, a popular and charming young lady, and all who know her think just as Roy does that he has won a prize, well-yes, and Della has too, for Roy is very industrious and a well-to-do farmer of Dell Prairie, and he is also clerk of that town. After the wedding dinner, Mrs. Nichols exchanged her bridal robe for a dark blue traveling suit, was led to the door by her husband where A. F. Woodring awaited with his auto, which on arrival had been hastily decorated with long streamers of old shoes, etc. and amid cheers and good wishes and a most generous shower of rice from all, they hurried away for Kilbourn where they took the afternoon train for Chicago and Kingston, Ill., where they will spend two weeks. They received many valuable and useful gifts and have the hearty good wishes of a host of friends. They will be at home at Dell Prairie after Nov. 25th.
