Leavitt, in Jackson township, Adams County, Wis., on the morning of Jan. 1, 1913, when their daughter, Abbie Pansy Marie Leavitt, became the wife of Fred Milton Speese, of Wautoma, Rev. Chas. E. Burdon, pastor of the Westfield M. E. church, conducting the ceremony in the presence of numerous relatives and friends. The bride was tastily attired in a dove gray dress, trimmed with silk braid and lace, while the groom wore the conventional black. Miss Eva Jones and Eber Leavitt, both of Jackson, served as witnesses. After the ceremony an elaborate dinner was served and enjoyed by all present. These young people are both from substantial families, highly respected, and have the kindest wishes of all who know them. (Hancock News)
