Russell. George was born c. 1854, probably at Columbia or Armenia township, Bradford Co., Pennsylvania. He was the son of George K. Russell and Jane A. MOSHER. George W. Russell removed to Seneca, Wood Co., Wisconsin by 1880 where he's enumerated in the census with wife Edith and their infant son. 1880 Household: George RUSSELL Self M Male W 26 PA Farmer NY NY Edith RUSSELL Wife M Female W 20 WI Keeps House IREL NY Woster RUSSELL Son S Male W 10M WI --- --- George's wife is believed to be Edith STEWART, daughter Joseph Stewart and Sarah HAMMOND. George and Edith were married at Adams Co., Wisconsin in September 1878. George and Edith reportedly had children named Charles, Wooster (Worcester?), Benjamin, Raymond, and Viva (Vivian?).
