Hi, everyone - I have the problem that a great-great grandfather and his oldest son are buried in Adams or Waushara Counties in some little country graveyard with no grave markers. Recently I remembered that someone had suggested checking for burial permits in similar situations (which I have not done as yet). Perhaps this would be a route that others might want to explore. HOWEVER, Whom does one contact for such documents (someone at the county level?) and for what time periods would these be available? Any help would be greatly appreciated. (The above burials took place in 1861 and 1893/94 respectively.) Carol in Canada
