Peter Applebee was an oldest brother of my 3rd great-grandmother Hannah Applebee. They were two of five children born to Nathan Applebee of Greene Co. IN. Peter was born circa 1802; I do not yet know when or where he died. Nor do I know the name of his mother. His father Nathan married a second time circa 1820 to a Maria Van Valkenburgh. This second marriage produced seven more children. We do know Nathan Applebee was born January 1, 1785 in Greenburgh, Westchester Co. NY, the son of Abraham Applebee and Sarah (Travis) Applebee. FYI, I have the children of Peter and Pamela (Goshlin) Applebee as Eliza, Gilbert, Henry, Jeremiah, Nathan H. and Thomas J. Applebee.
