He was married to Sophia Olafson on the second of November, 1900 at Amery. To them was born six children: Alf of Amery, Oscar of Milwaukee, Mrs Ted Groenwoldt of Milwaukee, Mrs Clinton Fall of Milwaukee, Palmer and Gerhart, at home. He leaves to mourn his passing a wife besides these children, four grandchildren and one sister in Norway. He has resided in Black Brook for thirty three years. Funeral services wre conducted from Our Savior's Lutheran church on Friday January 6 at 2pm, with Rev Ole K Olson officiating.
