Mr and Mrs Lindberg were married June 25th, 1912 at the East Immanuel church in Black Brook by Rev K O Lundeberg. Attendants were Mrs Norman Peterson(Rosetta Elkin); Dave Hanson, Mable Seilstad and Arthur Elkin. Two of these were present Sunday. The home was beautifully decorated with silver streamers and silver bells with huge baskets of colored peonies and other cut flowers. Pink roses for the bridal couple, the attendants and the children, Harland, Adlore, James and Charles Augustus were given by Mr and Mrs Alfred Kolsted. Mrs Kolsted is a sister of the groom. A large wedding cake beautufully decorated was also furnished by them. A short program was given begining about two with Rev J Alver leading with scripture and prayer followed by: vocal duet, Mr and Mrs George Nyeggen. song, Eldora and Jean Claire Molsted, Betty Jane and Elaine Elkin accompanied by Eleanor Molsted at the piano vocal duet, Florence Johnson and Lloyd Asp piano solo, Georgia Mae Nyeggen vocal solo Mr Nyeggen a short talk and presentation of a purse of silver, Rev Alver response by Mr Lindberg vocal duet, Miss Johnson and Mr Asp. Other gifts were presented during the day After the program, lunch was served, tables being set for the honored couple, their children, the attendants, Mrs John Elkin, mother of the bride, Rev Alver, Mrs Nels Eldin, aunt of the bride, Mrs H Ottersonn, Mr and Mrs Vandeberg of Baldwin, and Mr and Mrs Mattison of Minneapolis. All the others were served cafeteria style. Before all the people were served, Rev Dahl of Baldwin, who was unable to come earlier, came and spoke a few words on behalf of his family and congregation and wishing God's speed and blessing for many more years of happily wedded life together.
