Mrs Fillion and daughter, Winnifred, have had a touch of the flu. John Harris has been on the sick list. Corda Collier is now staying at the Harris home and is going to school here. Joe Goin has the flu. Mrs Charles Kittleson returned on Tuesday from the south, where she spent the winter. James Hanson of the North Star district called at the E Johnson home, Saturday. Mr and Mrs E Chickering spent Sunday afternoon at the C Golt home. Mrs Sabala and son, Jesus, drove to Bruce, Saturday. Floyd Graves is getting out logs, which he will have sawed when C Goin starts his mill. Walter Bates visited school on Thursday and called at the E Johnson home the same evening. He left the next day for St Croix Falls, where he will cook for a construction crew this summer. Walter is getting to be a real kitchen mechanic. Gene Goin, Henry Leppert, and Mabel Goin have received Palmer buttons.
