Mr and Mrs Evert Bruns who were assisting with the work at the Lloyd Suess home, have returned home. Mr and Mrs Dean Sabin annouce the birth of a daughter, Shirley Anne, at the home of Mrs Sabin's mother, Mrs Paul Boyer, January 15. Phil Alexander is hauling hardwood logs to the Alfred Lien mill site. Mrs Emma St George entertained a number of friends in honor of the birthday of her son,Truman Peterson recently.High honors were won by Mrs Nettie Bastian and John Saunders and low by Irwin Bastrian and Mrs Niles Ritter. Mrs L C Hanson is under the doctor's care. Melvin Gaare who has been with a brother in St Louis since October where he was employed has returned home. Miss Virginia Nelson has returned to the Dority Creek school after being ill with scarlet fever. Master Arden Alexander was a guest of his grandparents last weekend. John Alexander spent last week end at home. He returned to his milk testing work in Section 10 district last Sunday. Mrs Lucy Thomas who cared for the Armstrong children during their mother's vacation has returned ot her home. Galen Ritter visited his parents, Mr and Mrs Niles Ritter Monday. Mr and Mrs Luterh Prine and children were guests at the Emmet Johnson home last Sunday. Mrs Myrtle Thompson and Dale visited the former's sister, Mrs Marion Thompson and children last Monday.
