Mr and Mrs Barnett and Miss Lorraine Hunt of Mendota Illinois are spending their vacation here. Mr Barnett is planning to make arrangements to build a summer cottage here. A Labor day picnic was held at the George Commiskey park for neighbors and friends Monday. Clarence LaLiberte and a friend of Duluth who have been camping on the LaLiberte lots have returned to their homes. Mr and Mrs Dean Foster of Superior spent the week end here. Mr and Mrs Chester Harrison and Mr and Mrs Foote of Duluth spent the week end here. A R Sandberg of Chicago arrived Saturday morning to spend a few days with his family prepartory to closing their summer home for the season and returning home. The Misses Alma,Agnes and Olga Otterblad had their vacation interrupted by a call to come to Chicago due to the death of a member of their family. Dr and Mrs C H Mason of Superior spent the weekend as guests of Miss Lillian Kosier. Mr and Mrs G H Blackburn of Superior spent the weekend here.Mrs Blackburn remained here for the week. Captain J L Mooney of Chicago spent a few days with Mrs Mooney at their summer home here. Mr and Mrs Robert Marriner have returned to their home inChicago following a vacation at their summer home here. A J Landvogt was their guest for the weekend.
