Mr Smith born in New Carlisle Ohio came to Superior with his parents in 1856 when he was three years old. He was employed in the first drug store in Duluth and later established his own pharmacy. Survivors include: two daughters, Pauline and Margaret Smith and a nephew William S McCormick all of Duluth. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 at the Crawford chapel in Duluth.
