E E Anderson, is again able to resume his duties as mail carrier, on route number 2 after several days illness. Mr and Mrs Lynn Prentice of Park Falls are visiting the former's parents, Mr and Mrs W A Prentice for a few days. Mrs Anna Anderson and daughter Amelia, made a trip to Menominee Thursday for the purpose of arranging for their stay the coming year. Miss Amelia Anderson is teaching in the North Menominee school. Mrs Harry Capstick of Eau Claire is spending a couple of weeks at the home of Mr and Mrs H J Miller. Mr and Mrs Roy Miller and son Louis of Worthington spent the weekend at the former's parents, Mr and Mrs H J Miller. Mrs John Lindell entertained the Polly Ann club Wednesday at her home. Mrs Joe Vojta has recovered from her recent illness. Mrs William Sawyer and son Lorren of Shell Lake were week end guests at the homes of Mr and Mrs Frank Hunter and H E Bitney. Mrs Walter Zabel entertained the Royal Neighbor lodge members at their regular monthly meeting at her home Wednesday afternoon. The Sewing club met Tuesday at the home of Mrs Lydia Snider. Born to Mr and Mrs Forest Jones, a daughter September 3. Mr and Mrs Goldman and baby daughter of Milwaukee have moved into the Charles Engberg residence. Mr Goldman is instructor in the local high school this being the beginning of his second year. Mrs John Gossen and family of Emerald attended the sewing clas at the home fo her aunt Mrs Lydia Snider and also visited at the home of her parents, Mr and Mrs Fred Hensing. Mrs Frank Schieffer and daughters Leon and Shirley of Alma Iowa attended the funeral of Esther Marie Meyers Monday. Mr and Mrs E Wenger motored to Fond Du Lac the first of the week and were guests at the home of their daughters, Esther and Alice and families. Mrs Carrie Larson who visited for two weeks with her daughter,Mrs Joe Vojta and family has returned to her home at Clear Lake. Miss Mathilda Schieffer of Minneaplis attended the funeral of her cousin Esther Marie Meyers Monday. Floyd Greitch of Pokin spent the weekend with friends at Clayton. A Born spent the weekend with the home folks at Boyceville. Raymond Wall is spend a few days at the home of his parents in Hawkins. Miss Dorothy Belile of Milltown is employed at the home of Mrs Leon Nelson.
