Lester Profitt who is taking training at the Ennis boxing stable at Superior spent last week end at his home here. Miss Avis Lillihaugen gave a birthday party at her home last Sunday evening.Guests were Misses Julia Smith,Norma, Margaret and Constance Feigum,LaVerne Abrahamson,Lillian and Elaine Thompson. John Molner of Superior was a business caller in Dairyland last week. Arnold Bien who spent the past two months at the home of his cousin. Roy Fischer left last week for Joliet Illinois. Ralph Colwell of Sunrise Minnesota visited his uncle,Oscar Ingeberg for a few days recently. Mr and Mrs R Feigum and sons, Donald and Russell and Misses Constance and Joyce motored to Pine City Minnesota last Friday to visit friends. Charles Marshall who attends Superior high school spent last week end at his home here. Gustav Frye who attends Central high school in Superior spent last week end at his home here. Misses Vern Rehnstrand and Edith Turnell,Douglas county superintendent and supervising teacher,visited the Dairyland schools in districts one and two last Thursday. Miss Lydia Jasa, teacher of the Stevens school was ill last week. Mr and Mrs D Arndt and son,Mrs Nick Arndt,Miss Iris Arndt and Edward Arndt were Superior visitors last Friday.
