Mrs G F Hansche entertained the Royal Neighbor members of Harmony camp at her home Tuesday afternoon. Mrs Bitney spent a few days in the Twin Cities recently. Miss Carol Hovde left Thursday for Spring Valley where she attended the funeral of a relative. Mr and Mrs Walter Cochran and daughters Laura and Myrtle were guests at the home of Mrs Cochran's sister Mrs Henry Mewes recently. Miss Dorothy Crowell of Elmwood spent a week with the home folks, returning Sunday, she was accompanied by her parents, Mr and Mrs A B Crowell. Mrs Ed McKinzie of Deer Lake, Mrs Lindo of Luck and Mrs Chapin of Centuria were recent guests at th home of Mrs G F Hansche. E F Hansche returned home Sunday evening after spending nearly two weeks with friends at Washburn. Charles Wilcox is spending several weeks at the home of his daughter at River Falls. Mr and Mrs George Gould moved into the rooms over the John Thomas store last week. A birthday party was given Mrs Oscar Larson at her home the first of the week by friend. Billie Olson, son of Mr and Mrs William Olson was operated for appendicitis at Clear Lake, Monday afternoon. He is improving. Russell Ekland and Freddie Peterson left for Watertown where they will visit at the hoem of Mr Ekland's parents for a few days. Henry Kruger loaded two carloads of dairy cows at Glenwood City Sunday for the Illinois market. Mrs Ed McKinzie,supervisor for general adult education for Polk county and Mrs Lindoos of Luck and Mrs Chapin of Centuria,and Mrs Hansche of Clayton,instructors attended a teachers meeting here Saturday.
