Mrs Leo White of Oshkosh is visiting at the Henry Heiland home for several weeks. Misses Lorraine Rubyor and Ardis Haanstad spent several days last week at the Rexall Drug Co convention held at Minneapolis. Mrs G L Lyle received word of the death of her cousin, Archie Tanner, who died at Fullerton California of pneumonia. Mr and Mr G L Lyle were recent visitors at Chippewa Falls. Mrs George Gardner left for Minot N D to join her husband there where they will make their home. Ernest Gross, has left for Switzerland where he will visit for several months. A son was born to Mr and Mrs Lawrence Sauer of Sarona at St Joseph's hospital recently. A daughter was born to Mr and Mrs Roman Hentges of this city at St Joseph's hospital. Earl Nelson employed on the new dam here, suffered an injured foot while at work and received treatment at Lakeside hospital. Mrs Anna Drost suffered a fractured left wrist when she fell on an icy sidewalk. Neil Johnson,13 year old son of J E Johnson of route 1 Chetek received treatment at Lakeside hospital here for a fractured leg. A daughter was born to Mr and Mrs N W Otterholt of Cameron at Lakeside hospital. Born to Mr and Mrs Martin Zieroth of Route 1 a daughter at Lakeside hospital. A son was born to Mr and Mrs Harris Nelson of Birchwood. Born to Mr and Mrs Gordon Berry of Birchwood a son on January 26. The Milwaukee Weatherstrip company has opened a branch office for the northwest part of the state in this city with Harold Gramlow in charge of sales. J Buelow and Roy Arndt of Milwaukee are the mechanics. Mr and Mrs Gussie Dodge visited with their daughter, Lorraine who is a patient in a hospital in Eau Claire. Mr and Mrs T H Field entertained the members of the Fidelity Life association at Five hundred at their home on Monday. Mrs Clarence Rhodes is a patient at the General hospital in Madison. Mr and Mrs Joseph Bilodeau were recent visitors at Eau Claire. Rolland Oliver suffered a severe cut on his hand while sawing wood. Mrs A W Webster has returned from anextended visit at the home of their daughter, Mrs Charles Lewis at Medford. Mr and Mrs Adolph Hermann of Barron were recent guests of friends here. Miss Bernice Lee of Bozeman Montana is visiting at the home of Mr and Mrs Rodney Ward. Nels Rogstad of route 3 is confined to his home with illness. Mrs Wane Cable and baby of Spooner have been visiting at the home of her mother,Mrs George Knight for several weeks. Mrs Harry Moore is recovering from a recent operation at Lakeside hospital. Mr and Mrs Harry Shilkrot spent several days on a business trip to the Twin Cities. A son was born recently to Mr and Mrs Ernest Immerfall of this vicinity. Jean Barrett suffered a painful bruised finger on his left hand when it was caught in a job press. Mrs Jospehine Harback of Hudson is visiting at the home of her son, Casper Harback Mr and Mrs David Connors and grandson David visited with their daughter,Mrs Gwen Rudoll at Osceola for a few days. Richard Hoffman who is attending the University of Wisconsin is spending several days at the home of his parents.
