She had gone from her home here to Barron to spend the Christmas holidays with her osn and family. While there she fell and broke her hip. The injury combined with her age caused her death. Henrietta Reifkogel was born at Charlestown, Massachusetts, September 11, 1862. When she was three years old her family came to Plainview where she grew up and was educated in the local school. On Septembr 28, 1887, she was married to Charles Lawton and for a time they lived in Plainview. then they went to Westfield, Wisconsin where Mr Lawton operated a lumber company store for a few years. Later he opened a grocery store at Barron, Wisconsin, where Mr Lawton died. A number of years ago Mrs Lawton returned to Plainview to make her home with her sister Mrs Lottie Carroll and later bought a home for herself and continued to live here. Mrs Lawton is survived by one son, Charles of Barron, Wisconsin and one brother Wiliam Reifkogel of Plainview.
