Mrs Christina Kern and son, James,Mrs Emma Kass of Stanley and Miss Sophia Spehn of Winona Minnesota were recent guests at the Ed Erickson home. Hazel Bolstead has left for Donald to teach in the state graded school. Mapleleaf and Sunnyview schools opened Monday with the same teachers as last year. M and Mrs Henry Mercier and family spent last weeke ed with relatives at Cloquet and Proctor Minnesota. Raymond Quesnell has returned to his studies at St Henry's Seminary at Belleview Illinois after visiting his sisters, Mrs Henry Hagenson and Mrs Sef Kern. Jim Cox is visiting relatives at Proctor and Cloquet Minnesota this week. Mrs Ole Olson spent a few days in Stanley visiting Mrs M E Brown. Lindsey Adams has returned home from the Owen hospital. Several local people attended the wedding dance at Huron last Saturday evenng. St Mary's Ladies Aid met with Mrs Steve Quesnell on September 2.
