Mrs Joslyn and son Howard and daughter Virginia have returned to their home in Maywood Illinois,after spending the summer at their summer home on the lake shore. Robert Arseneau has left for Oshkosh where he will enter his third year at the Oshkosh State Teachers college. Mrs H H Peavey is visiting with relatives and friends in Minneapolis and Owatonna Minnesota. Burns Warden of Chicago arrived in the city Sunday morning to spend a week visiting with friends . He is a former Washburn resident. Larry Tait of Stanley who has been visiting with his grandparents, Mr and Mrs J L Smith returned to his home last Thursday. Mrs Lynn Hering and son Lynn and Raymond and Harold Kinney returned to Minneaplis after visiting with relatives and friends in the city. Edgar Dodge of Milwaukee spent the week end visiting his brother in law asnd sister, Mr and Mrs Dan Smith. Mr and Mrs Ralph Leland of Eau Claire have been visiting with relatives and friends in the city. On their return they will be accompanied by Mrs Helen Goodnough who will spend a short time visiting with them. The Misses Ann and grace Jacobs left Monday for St Paul, after spending the summer months at their home in the city. Both are teachers in the St Paul city schools. Miss Irene Ungrodt left last weekend for Medford where she is a teacher in the public schools. Mrs J B Sprague of Milwaukee left Monday morning for her home after visiting since Thursday with Mr and Mrs Eben Burdick. Mr and Mrs Ralph Simoneau and son of Milwaukee returned to their home after visiting with his mother, Mrs Charles Simoneau.They were accompanied by their daughter, Gertrude who has been spending the summer with her grandmother. Mr and Mrs William Morris of DePere spent the weekend in the city with his parents, Mr and Mrs C F Morris. District Attorney Robert A Nixon was a business visitor in Grand View on Tuesday.
