These people were old neighbors of the Johnsons when they lived at Bone Lake. Arnold and Marvin Johnson,Mrs Hazel Tretten and Donna Johnson returned to St Paul Sunday evening after being here for their father's funeral. The Big Lake Ladies Aid will meet at the Odin Hagen home on October 23rd. Arvid Olson left for Fort Snelling Sunday where he joined the Air Corp. Mr and Mrs Albert Christensen called at the John Peper home Sunday afternoon. Ione Lois Olson spent the week end with their mother, Mrs Lillian Olson. Mrs Gena Bondeli has a letter from Alton on Monday that he is now in new quarters and staioned at Camp Buttner N C. Garnet Peper returned to St Paul on Friday to her employment after spending a few days with her parents, Mr and Mrs J Peper. Mr and Mrs Elroy Erickson and daughter, Marvin and Mrs Elton Taylor were St Paul callers Thursday. Oscar Berget and Clarance Olson attended the Legion meeting at Osceola Monday evening. Mr and Mrs Floyd Blanchard of Minneapolis,Mr and Mrs Olaf Olson of Star Prairie called at the L J Olson home,Sunday afternoon. Mrs Johanna Bottolfson is visiting her daughter, Mrs John Johnson for a short time. Mr and Mrs Ole Christenson,Mr adn Mrs Orvin Christenson and children were Sunday evening callers at the Morris Olson home. Martin,Howard, Carol and Corine Tandberg spent from Frday evening until Sunday evening at the Eldor Tandberg home at Centuria. On Sunday, Mr and Mrs Gust Tandberg were dinner guests there when their children returned home with them. Mr and Mrs Carl Hansen spent the week end in St Paul. A shower was given in honor of Hazel Christensen and Perry Emerson at the Ray Christesen home on Thursday evening. Mrs Ingold Haroldson moved down to New Richmond on Sunday where she will be employed. Mrs Nettie Berget and Peter Pederson attended services at the West Immanuel church Sunday and visited in the afternoon at the William Berget home.
