Four cases of scarlet fever have been recorded in the city of Amery and as a precautionary measure, the first grade has been closed. Thirty ducks were brought back by a party of Amery hunters who went up to the A M Paulson hunting lodge on Yellow River, east of Hertel. In the party were Mr Paulson,Tony Paulsin,Dr C A Nelson,Frank Finney and R H McKinney. A bridal shower was given for Miss Helen Peterson at the Walter Peterson home Monday evening.
