Your Maryland connection may relate to my Whittington who was born there as well. I find the names Benjamin and Henry among the Whittingtons of my line; do these names appear in your family? I havecome across several such Benjamin Whittingtons, in the 1820 census for Calvert County, Maryland and do not know if one of them is the father of my Henry C. Whittington who was born 14 December, 1809 in Baltimore. You are the first person I have come across in the Whittington postings that has any Maryland connection. I would certainly appreciate any information on Maryland Whittingtons to help fill in the right parent for my Henry. I believe that his middle initial stands for COMAN or COWMAN or COLMAN which was probably his mother's maiden name. I have found Comans in the Baltimore census. Any suggestions would be welcome at this point. Thanks -William __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
