Hello To All, I am looking for any information relating to the family of George & Caroline (nee KING) Whittington, who were resident at Thanet Place , which I think is/was in Croyden at the time of the 1881 Census. The Census Place was St. Clements Danes, London Middlesex. Both were born in Bristol, George 1835, Caroline 1836,George's father was John, & Caroline's father was William. Both George & his father John were Hatters, whilst William King was a Plasterer. George & Caroline had seven children, their eldest son George Henry Thomas, born 8 Aug 1856,is my grandfather, he married Rose Varney in 1885 and moved to Brighton where my father, Eric George Varney Whittington was born 3rd May 1897. Rose died in 1899 and my Grandfather came to West Australia in 1901.
