While there, I went up to Gary, IN and meet with some of the tech system people there. They were trying to form a union, for many good reasons. Example, no pay raise for some years, yet, the system could dismiss a campus president ($60,000 per year) - she went to St Louis and went to work for about the same money. Indiana Tech did not want to admit that they had let her go so, they keep sending her the Indiana pay check and she had about 3 years left on her contract.
