I wonder if the Oscar Whittington you mention on the Whittington surname message board could possibly be my Great Grandfather. Do you know where he was originally from? Or maybe perhaps, if he had a previous marriage? My grandfather's name is George Ralph Whittington. He is the son of Oscar Whittington and Ella Grey. Things didn't work out between the two of them (I don't know the reason). I know that Ella remarried after that, and my grandfather, as far as I know, never saw his father again. He often wondered if he had brothers and sisters. One time he actually say someone that looked alot like him, and he wondered if they were related.
