It will be June 8 & 9th in Liberty MS. I found the website looking for historical information on the Whittington family. The Amite Co. website has a lot of links that may be useful to you. Researchers of the early Miss. families are invited to come and to share reference materials, visit local churches, cemeteries, etc. relevant to their ancestors, etc. and to share information with other researchers. I am planning on attending. Registration is only $10. I suggest you go to the website and read more about it and think about attending. I am also a descendent of Cornelius Whittington. My line is Cornelius, John, Ephriam, James, Ephriam, Jonathan Portwood Whittington, Robert, and then me. I am looking for any information available on my ancestors. Another cousin is looking for prrof of John Whittington, son of Ephriam & Mary Strange Whittington's birthdate.
