My Minerva Whittington married Benjamin Harrison Childs when she was about 13 or 14 years of age. They married in 1869 according to the 1870 census records. In 1870 they lived in Carroll Parish, La. (before Carroll was divided into East and West). Later that year she had a little girl, then in 1872 she had a son, James Franklin Childs (my father), then she died on Jan. 28, 1873. She was alive during two census years, the 1860 which I can't find her with her parents, and the 1870 when she was married. I really need a lot of help to find her. Thanks. Maurine
