    3. Tom and List Members, I love reading all abt. the Whittington's. I'm against a brick wall. Have been in touch recently with cousin's I never knew existed, in VA & WV. My thing is this...supposedly there were two STARKE Whittington's. First in Campbell, VA and then Kanawha, VA, later WV. Cousins Jean and Nancy say our G-Grandmother, Anne Elizabeth Whittington was a daughter of Starke Whittington and Sarah Medley. Then on the other hand, that is disputed and it's Starke and Rhoda/Rhody Wiley. I stick with Sarah. My question is....in all the Whittington research, has anyone found where Anne Elizabeth Whittington m. Nathan Alexander Elliott in 1863/64 in Kanawha County, WV. It's like she appeared out of nowhere and disappeared into nowhere. I have papers where she filed for pension after Nathan died in 1891. 1910 census shows her living with daughter and son-in-law in Kanawha Co., WV. If anyone has any info on this elusive lady, would you please share. Apparently no one researching can find out anything abt. here. I know there were courthouse records lost due to a fire. I thank you and would greatly appreciate any info.
