My family has been looking for Richard Ann Whittington, b ca 1831 in VA/WVA (yes, that is her name) for over 30 years. She married John DAWSON, 4/23/1851 in Allegany County, Md. I was informed by a previous researcher that if she couldn't find Richard Ann's parents, then I probably couldn't find them either. Help-- I want to prove her wrong!! Mamie
