But I am descended from Harriet Adams and William James. Can you help me with them? I am also hoping you might have info on William James who was from North Carolina. I know that William, Harriet, Adaline and their infant all died in 1854 within a space of a few months and that Rachel Whittington raised their daughter. Their story seems so tragic.
