Recently was browsing "DAU's Blue Book for Detroit" published in 1911 showing the social "elite' of Detroit,Michigan and discovered a listing for Mr. Bertram Cecil Whitney and his wife Beatrice Larned. Additional research yields the following: B.C. Whitney and his wife maintained homes in Detroit and New York, New York. He had servants, chauffeur, cook and all the trappings of great wealth. He is listed in 1910 and 1920 as a owner of theaters. No children listed. Bertram was born in Jan. 1870 and was the son of a pioneer Michigan family. His line is as follows: B.C.
