While so many are looking for various John Whitneys, would you also keep your eyes open for my long lost John - John Whitney was born about 1732 in Connecticut, probably New London. He was living in Horton, Nova Scotia in 1760. He was married to Desire Avery, daughter of Nathan Avery and Rachel Desire Yeoman. He had a son John. Due to his birth in Connecticut, I am hoping that he may be a Henry Whitney descendant. Bill Whitney
