I didn't mean for you to do the legwork for me, but I hadn't examined all the links on the WRG home page and so missed the search engine. I've just tried it on my favorite Whitney name, Rep. Ohio Jr. (who married a Brooks), and, voila! There he is. The presentation of the Pierce book, with hyperlinked corrections, is outstanding! Chris
