WRG: I'm pretty sure we have or have had descendants of Orrin Whitney and Hannah D. Fairbanks of Presque Isle, Maine and Kingston, Minnesota in the group. If you are still here, I have a question about their children. I know that two of their sons were Augustus E. and Winfield Scott Whitney. Does anyone know if there was a third son named Orrin, who married Hannah Goss? They lived in Presque Isle, and he died there of disease contracted in the Civil War.
