In searching for my Thomas Whitney in Washington Co., OH, I found a land deed of Thomas O. Whitney, of Washington Co., OH, selling land to John Wenzel of the same place. It was recorded on 16 Jan 1872 and sold for $575. I can't read how large the parcel is but it is located in Section 36, Township 2, Range 7 of ??? Township, Washington Co., OH. I copied the deed in Salt Lake City. Washington Co., OH Land Deeds, Vol. 73:183. Sorry but I didn't write down the microfilm number. Thomas O. is not one of mine and I know of nothing more about him.
