Dear WRG: I have been having trouble identifying which Abraham Whitney of Sudbury it was whose prospective marriage to one Sarah Adams or Adames (of Weston) is noted in the Weston Vital Records as having been published on 21 Sep 1771, (on p. 127 of the WestonVR). It might logically seem that it was a son of Abraham Jr. and Marcy Perry Whitney whose marriage is noted in the Sudbury VR's on p. 285. However, that marriage had an Abraham, born 1754 (making him a bit too young) who is known to have married Mehitable Ware in 1780. So, which Abraham of Sudbury was it who did marry this woman on Nov. 12, 1771? Happy Hunting? Allan E. Green
