Hi Huey Sorry I have nothing on William Whitney + Sarah Compton from Ky Eleanore Dilello

I am a great-great-great grandson of Col. Nathan Whitney (1791 - 1891). Born in Conway, Massachusetts, he became a founder of Lee County, Illinois. Nathan, in turn, is the grandson of both Captain Jonathan Whitney (1737 -1792) and Lieutenant Jesse Whitney (1730 - 1813). Jonathan's son, also a Nathan (1791 - 1838), married Jesse's daughter Olive (1758 - 1829). Interestingly Nathan and Olive's sons lived to ripe old age: Luther 96 years, Theodore 7 years (killed by a falling tree), Otis 98 years, Col. Nathan 100 years, Cheeney 90 years, Jonathan 76 years Poor Theodore! That tree cost him 90 years! Talk about being in the wrong place ...
