Thanks to all for your kind expressions of sympathy and offers of prayers. My father was amazed by the research that can be done in genealogy, and I used to share stories about some of my mother's ancestors with him. Dad's own background is much more difficult due to immigration and records lost during WWII, but I keep plugging away. The hardest thing I have ever done was entering his death date and information into my database. But I plan to work hard to find his ancestors - not nearly as well documented as the Whitneys and Parkers but some great stories to share nonetheless. Thanks again. Jo Hogle
