Hannah WATSON, daughter of Coleman Phinney and Patience-5 (WHITNEY) WATSON, probably was the one who married Samuel SCRIBNER on 2 Mar 1797 in Bridgton, ME. Hannah WATSON, who married Taylor LOUGEE on 3 May 1806 in Limerick, ME, seems to be daughter of Jonathan and Sarah (EDGERLY) WATSON of Limerick. (Jonathan WATSON and Coleman Phinney WATSON are not related.) If this altered parentage is correct, then Hannah (WATSON) LOUGEE is not a WHITNEY descendant. On the other hand, Jonathan WATSON has a line of descent through the DUDLEY family from English royalty. This is not proof. It may be wrong. You should look for proof in the usual way, using primary sources.
