Hello list, I am looking for the family of Whitneys that lived in the Pen Argyl, Northampton, PA area originally from NY. I have searched everywhere for this family and cannot find a connection. My Whitney is Willard Moore Whitney, b. Sep 1882 in NY, d. 1946 in Phila, PA. I find him with his wife and child from 1900 (he is still in NY and single in the 1900 census living by himself) through 1930 census in PA, but cannot find him in the earlier census 1850 through 1880. He married Hester Lucretia Kress from Pen Argyl, PA. I found a Willard M. Whitney born 1851 in NY, son of Zenas and Polly Whitney in Saratoga Co. NY. but cannot find this Willard in the 1880 census. This could be Willard M. b. 1882 father, but just guessing. Does this family look familiar to any Whitneys out there. Joyce Sharpley [email protected]
