Humm... I'm just now seeing the WHEELOCK line associated with our Whitneys... Makes me wonder about William E. Wheelock of the piano industry in New York (ca. 1903). He was president of the Weber Piano Co. (see below) and he also started making pianos under his own name (Wheelock Piano Co.) in New York City. I once owned a Wheelock baby grand piano... now I could kick myself for selling it. *sigh* Anyone know if William E. Wheelock of the piano world was related to any of our Whitneys?
