    3. Jan et al, I assumed that this Abner was the son of Jesse and Mary (Sawyer) Whitney, born in Saco, Maine 15 Dec 1799. If it is, his ancestry is: John1, Benjamin2, Nathaniel3, Nathan4, David5, Jesse6, Abner7. I could be wrong, but who else would it be?
