Dear Darral Lawson, I would be very interested in this photo album!! Stephen Whitney, who married Emma Sophia Immen are my great grandparents. (Emma and Stephen had 5 daughter and 2 sons, one who died young.) (John H., Stephen, John F., Isaac, Jason, Mark, Benjamin, John) Their last child and only surviving son, Maj. John H. Whitney b. Oct 13, 1893, was my grandfather. I have a copy of his birth certificate. John H. Whitney married Ruth Marie Cole in Romeo, MI on May 12, 1922. They had two daughters, one of which was my mother. (The direct Y male marker stopped with the birth of my mother and aunt!) This news could not have come at a better time as I just lost my mother, Eleanor L. Whitney this past October and have been very lonely for her. (I know she would have been excited to hear this.) Before my mother died she gave me some pottery that belonged to Emma (Immen) and Stephen Whitney that had been on their farm in Macomb. I would be forever grateful and honored if you would entrust these precious photos to me. I am very excited about this....... I would digitalize them and share them with anyone else who would be interested in the future. I also have 5 children of my own. PLEASE let me know what I can do. I have a variety of artifacts and news articles to show my lineage. Best Regards, Aimee W.
