Yes, the old website is still down. Unfortunately, we have been unable to recover the data from the hard drive. The good news is that we do have a backup. I have a new server almost ready to go to host the old website, and just need to make a few changes before we can upload the backup to bring it back online. The GEDCOMs were on the old website, so they are affected as well. The new website, which replaced the old one about a year ago, can still be accessed at http://wiki.whitneygen.org/ Sorry for the inconvenience! The old Whitney Research Group is now back up and running. You can access both the old and new websites at http://www.whitneygen.org. Note that the GEDCOM databases are not yet back online and will take a bit more work on my part. If you notice anything else that isn't working quite right on the old website, please let me know.
